Heritage

Print, Image size 9.5 x 9.5"

AVAILABLE

Heritage: This piece was done from the artist's collection of family items. The case the objects were placed in was a crate used on her great great grandfather's fishing schooner, Arizana, which sailed out of Provincetown. The block (pulley), lantern and chain were also from that boat.

The fid (long wooden object on the right) was from the other side of the family, also from a fishing schooner that sailed out of another unknown port. The fid was used to mend fishing nets.

The original was sold, but because the artits wanted a giclee print of the original, a run was done A few of the prints remain in the artist's possession and can be purchased through Addison Art Gallery.
